It’s full steam ahead on construction for the new 3.9 mile St Austell to A30 link road. A new roundabout opened at Tregoss earlier this year and now a new section of road will open this month linking the roundabout with Roche.
The road, which will take heavy traffic away from clay country communities including Bugle, Roche and Stenalees, will also create five a half miles of new paths and routes for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. It will also feature a ‘green’ corridor of wildflowers and heathland to support wildlife habitats and boost biodiversity.
