An Olympics legend and a former Dragon’s Den investor are among five major new hires at Champions (UK) plc as the firm announces exciting new growth plans.
The Midlands-based growth-consultancy has recruited of a number of global industry leading experts to deliver services from some the world’s leading minds across every business topic:
• Piers Linney, who appeared as a Dragons’ Den investor on the hit BBC show for two series between 2013-2015. He is the co-founder of Implement AI and joins Champions as AI and Technology Lead.
• Olympic 400m athlete Derek Redmond was part of the 1991 British 4x400m relay team that shocked the athletics world by beating the much-favoured American team into second place in the World
• Championships to claim the gold medal. Derek joins Champions as its Head of Training and Development.
• Jamie McAnsh joins as Head of Inclusion. Mr. McAnsh woke up paralysed in 2014 after rupturing his spine in his sleep and was diagnosed with a functional neurological condition called Complex
• Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). He is an inspirational motivational speaker who has channelled his own experience with disability into a network to help others.
• Caspar Craven is a multi-published and award winning People and HR author and will be partnering with Champions as ‘Change Mindset Lead’, delivering optimisation solutions for businessleaders
• Emma Tolhurst is a renowned business management and employee experience expert with experience working within a wide range of fields. Emma’s broad perspective of business culture and ability
• to learn continuously new people-led practices is now being utilised by clients of all ages and backgrounds.
