Anna Mapson, a nutritional therapist, is hosting a series of podcast interviews with leading UK digestive health experts to help people with IBS.
The interviews on the Inside Knowledge for people with IBS podcast will support anyone struggling with symptoms like abdominal pain, erratic bowel movements, wind and bloating, by giving clear evidence based advice. Current guest appearances from consultant gastroenterologist Professor Hayee, NHS GP Dr Ewart, a pelvic health physiotherapist, hypermobility expert and more. Weekly episodes released on YouTube, Spotify or Apple podcasts.
Anna, based in Bristol, has been a nutritional therapist for 10 years and works with digestive clients from all over the world online. She published a book in January 2026, Inside Knowledge for people with IBS and SIBO, which is available on Amazon as a paperback or Kindle.
The interviews bring in different expert perspectives for anyone struggling with uncontrolled digestive issues. For example, learning from a gastroenterologist doctor that 34% of people with diarrhoea predominant IBS might be suffering with a treatable condition called bile acid diarrhoea. Or understanding from an osteopath how hypermobility of connective tissue can slow down motility in 1% of the whole population.
Anna said “This series of the Inside Knowledge podcast has brought some really relevant and useful perspectives on irritable bowel syndrome. There is an amazing selection of people who support digestive disorders and it’s going to be so useful for listeners with a sensitive digestion.”
This new interview series is part of the main podcast which has been running since May 2023 with 155 episodes. Prior to the interview series the podcast ran with 20 minute solo episodes with Anna covering a range of IBS nutrition topics like the low FODMAP diet, bloating, diets for constipation and small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).
